Busy rota and mainly on-call over the 4 months of the rotation, half of the ward time is spent in the stroke unit and the other on the geriatric ward. There was very little teaching from the consultants.

Quite repetitive job but that's expected on a geriatric ward. Supportive team, rota with medical on calls.

GP surgery in Harlow, supportive department but partners are busy themselves so could have had more teaching/supervision. GP was not for me because it is lonely.

A&E rota was very tough but otherwise good department

If you're interested in T&O, you'll love the rotation, consultants and regs are passionate about it and willing to teach.
