Locum Consultant in General Medicine (with SI)

The job will include joining a small team of general medical consultants to look after patients on a 20-cubicled ward as well as medical outliers. Successful candidates will join a growing team looking to transform the way we care for general medical patients. Areas particularly encouraged are same day emergency and enhanced level and remote care, ultrasound Imaging and echocardiography, education, research and development and quality improvement. The Locum Consultant will be responsible for providing consultant cover for the medical patients on Guildford Ward and outlying patients on two specialist wards and the emergency department. The key duties and responsibilities of the post will be:
