Salaried GP

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team for 3 sessions per week (1 session on Thursday and 2 sessions on Friday). This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established practice serving approximately 9,700 patients in the market town of Heanor, Derbyshire. We offer a competitive salary of £11,500 to £12,170 per session per annum depending on experience, and a modern and forward-thinking approach to primary care. The successful candidate will become part of a welcoming practice with five GP partners and two current salaried GPs. Interviews may be offered before the advertised closing date, and we reserve the right to close this vacancy early should sufficient applications be received. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centred primary medical services to our practice population. The role will include undertaking routine GP consultations, managing acute and chronic medical conditions, providing preventative healthcare and health promotion, and working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient care. You will be supported by our experienced clinical and administrative teams and will use SystmOne and Rapid Health to help deliver efficient and accessible care to patients. The postholder will contribute to maintaining high clinical standards, participate in practice meetings and clinical governance activities as appropriate, and support the practice in delivering contractual and quality requirements.
