Locum Consultant in Children's Emergency Department

Proposed interview date will be w/c 17th August 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a Paediatric Emergency Medicine physician or Acute Paediatrician to join the Children's Emergency Department team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust, working with us towards our goal of providing world class emergency care to the children and young people of Coventry and Warwickshire. Our team is dedicated, enthusiastic and committed to continuously improving our service and we are looking for somebody who will join us in this aim. The Children's Emergency Department at UHCW is co-located with the Adult ED and the team work closely with our Adult ED and Paediatric colleagues to provide single front door access to approximately 38,000 acutely unwell or injured children and young people every year. This is an exciting time for CED at UHCW. We are proud of the service that we offer our patients, but we recognise the need to change and adapt as the demands of EM change. In September 2023 we completed a significant expansion providing us with the space and facilities appropriate to the demands of a busy, forward looking CED. N.B.
