Fixed Term Salaried GP

As a Salaried GP at Dinas Lane Medical Centre, you will play a key role in delivering safe, effective and patient-centred care to our practice population. Working as an autonomous practitioner, you will provide high-quality clinical services in accordance with your contract of employment, NHS regulations and the standards set out by the General Medical Council (GMC). You will work collaboratively within our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care while contributing to the ongoing development and success of the practice. As a valued member of the clinical team, you will be expected to demonstrate professionalism, integrity and compassion, building positive relationships with colleagues and patients alike. In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will contribute to the effective running of the practice by supporting service improvement initiatives, participating in clinical governance and maintaining accurate, timely clinical records. As a training practice, we encourage our GPs to share their knowledge and expertise by supporting, mentoring and, where appropriate, supervising other healthcare professionals and learners within the organisation.

You will provide high quality patient centred care through a mix of face to face consultations and telephone triage, managing a structured clinic of appointments across morning and afternoon sessions. The role includes assessing, diagnosing and managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, as well as supporting continuity of care for registered patients. You will work collaboratively with the wider clinical team, contributing to shared decision making and effect patient management. You will also utilise EMIS WEB and Docman to maintain accurate clinical records and support safe, effective delivery.
