Senior Clinical Fellow - Anaesthesia

This is a local Trust appointment to a vacant training post. Whether this is counted towards training for the successful applicant would depend upon their suitability and approval from the Regional Advisor. Applicants who would like this appointment to count towards training should indicate this. The job post will commence on 05/08/2026 (or as soon as possible after) until 02/02/2027.

The post holder will be fully involved with the provision of anaesthetic services in the operating theatres and Intensive Care unit and resuscitation. They will provide a pre and post-operative service for patients. The post holder, depending on their level of experience, provides out of hours cover for acute / emergency theatre work or ICU or Obstetric Anaesthesia. Work patterns follow a compliant full shift system. There are at least 3 resident CT1 / CT2 / ST1-4 and 1 ST5-7 Anaesthetic staff in the hospital at all times.
