About the role
Are you looking for a flexible GP role that fits around your existing commitments? Clifton Court Medical Practice is seeking a motivated and compassionate Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team for 2-4 sessions per week (over 1-2 days). We are happy to be flexible on working days wherever possible and recognise that many GPs are seeking greater flexibility in their careers. This opportunity may be particularly attractive to those wishing to work alongside an existing role, develop a portfolio career, pursue specialist interests, return to practice, or reduce their current clinical commitment whilst continuing to enjoy patient-facing care. This is a fixed-term position until 31 March 2027, with a strong possibility of extension, subject to ongoing funding and service requirements. We are a highly regarded training practice committed to delivering excellent patient care whilst supporting the wellbeing, professional development and work-life balance of our staff. To apply, please email your CV and covering letter outlining your suitability for the role to Andrea Francis at andrea.francis5@nhs.net.
As a Salaried GP at Clifton Court Medical Practice, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care to our diverse practice population whilst working as part of a skilled and supportive multidisciplinary team. Key responsibilities include: Undertaking face-to-face, telephone and other patient consultations as appropriate. Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic medical conditions. Providing ongoing care for patients with long-term conditions. Prescribing in line with local and national guidance. Develop and review patient management and treatment plans. Making appropriate referrals to secondary care and community services. Maintaining accurate and contemporaneous clinical records. Participating in quality improvement initiatives, audit and QOF activity. Contributing to enhanced service delivery where appropriate. Working collaboratively with practice colleagues and the wider healthcare team. Participating in practice meetings and continuing professional development activities. The successful candidate will undertake all duties and responsibilities associated with a General Practitioner working within primary care.
