Teaching Fellow (ST3+) in Neurology

12 month fixed-term post Teaching Fellow Registrar in Neurology(ST3+) Available ASAP - Fixed Term, Specialist Registrar level Neurology Teaching Fellow post, combining specialist neurology training, outpatient and inpatient clinical care, registrar on-call duties, and dedicated responsibility for undergraduate and postgraduate medical education. These will appeal to those who have completed core level training and are wishing to pursue a higher career in Medical Specialties.

The main duties and responsibilities of this post are to Ensure a safe and high standard of care of all patients Participate in the running of the department/ward Provide clinical supervision of Junior doctors on medical wards &/or in the on-call team Provide senior medical input for the on-call Medical Team (especially Out of Hours) and potentially lead the cardiac arrest team Assist with achieving the DOH Clinical Quality Indicators Deliver teaching sessions for medical students and junior doctors. Provide bedside teaching, tutorials, case-based discussions and simulation sessions. Support the development of educational resources and teaching programmes. Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.
