Fixed Term Appointment (CT1-3 Level) in Psychiatry

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Full Time Fixed Term Appointment (CT1-3 Level) in Psychiatry. These fixed term posts provide an excellent developmental opportunity for doctors who have passed their FY2 (or equivalent) competencies to gain experience of working in psychiatry and mental health prior to committing to a specialty core training programme. These posts within the Mental Health & Learning Disabilities (MHLD) Division will allow doctors to gain experience in the psychiatric subspecialties of general adult, old age or learning disabilities with the additional opportunity to experience forensic, child and adolescent, old age liaison and addictions on a 'taster' or special interest basis. The area of Gwent (ABUHB) is geographically dispersed and travelling is a pre-requisite of this post. Post holders are expected to hold a full UK driving licence (or equivalent) and have access to their own transport. All ABUHB hospitals are within reasonable commuting distance of Cardiff.
