LAS Specialty Registrar in Oncology ST3+

There are 2 LAS ST3 level oncology positions available: One full time position to start for a fixed term period from ASAP to 26 May 2027 to cover maternity leave. One full time position to start for a fixed term period from 05 Aug 2026 to 06 Aug 2027. Full MRCP (parts 1, 2 and PACES) is essential. The duties of this post are equivalent to ST3 level training. The appointment will be at Nodal Point 04. A basic medical degree (MBChB), valid Advanced Life Support certificate and successful completion of foundation competencies by the date of application are essential. A minimum of 3 years' full time post graduate training at core level to achieve medical competencies (e.g. IMT or ACCS Acute Medicine or equivalent) is essential. At least 6 months experience of working in the NHS as a doctor in a substantive post and an active interest in oncology as a subspecialty are desirable. The post does not award a National Training Number, as this post is not recognised as a 'training post'. Full registration with the GMC with a licence to practise by the date of application is required. If the appointee does not hold right of residence in the UK sponsorship will be required.
