Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced a whole time Locum Consultant Ophthalmologist post with a specialist interest in Ocular Oncology to be employed by Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The post is primarily based at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. This is a fixed term post for 12 months from the commencement date, with the potential to extend. Why join us? The Sheffield Ocular Oncology Service is a nationally designated Centre of Excellence, providing quaternary care for adults with eye cancers since 1987. We are looking for an enthusiastic Consultant in Ocular Oncology to join a high-performing multidisciplinary team delivering specialist, compassionate, and innovative care. o Join a nationally recognised, high-performing specialist service with a strong reputation for quality and innovation.o Work within a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering complex care and excellent patient experience. Any candidate who is unable for personal reasons to work full-time will be eligible to be considered for the post; if such a person is appointed, modification of the job content will be discussed on a personal basis with the Trust in consultation with consultant colleagues.
