Salaried GP

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Salaried GP, to join our established team here at Heald Green Health Centre for 6 sessions per week. We provide the full range of NHS General Medical Services to our registered patients, and our aim is to provide personalised, quality healthcare. As a Salaried GP, you will be supported by, and work with, a diverse multi-skilled professional team of clinical and non-clinical friendly staff, providing high quality, person-centred, holistic clinical care to patients registered within the practice. This is a permanent role.

As a Salaried GP you will be expected to undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations, and visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions, doing triage, and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion. Furthermore, you will be expected to undertake duty doctor sessions in proportion to your sessions at the practice.

Heald Green Health Centre is a well-established practice with approximately 7000 patients. We have 2 GP partners, 5 salaried GPs, 1 ACP, 2 Practice Nurses and 2 HCA. In addition, we have a large admin and reception team using their experience to provide workflow optimisation and efficiencies to release clinical time, all supported by an experienced forward thinking Practice Management team.
