About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join the Obstetrics and Gynaecology team at the West Middlesex University Hospital Site of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.We wish to appoint suitably trained and experienced doctors with NHS experience as Senior Clinical Fellows to work as Senior Registrars with a special interest in Early Pregnancy and Acute Gynaecology. These posts are ideal for candidates seeking an Out of Programme Training for Clinical Experience (OOPE) and completion of the Early Pregnancy and Acute gynaecology ATSM. The post will also provide specialised training towards the completion of the intermediate module in Early pregnancy and Acute gynaecology ultrasound scanning. The successful candidates will also be expected to contribute to the SpR on call Rota and will be provided with an Educational Supervisor. The successful candidates with be able to contribute to research within the department.Applicants are invited to apply as soon as possible with a proposed start date in April 2026 (1 candidate) and October 2026 (2 candidates). The successful candidates should be registered with the GMC and should have relevant NHS experience to work at the level of ST5 -7 within a busy Obstetrics and Gynaecology unit. · To provide a commitment to learning early pregnancy and gynaecology ultrasound scanning and conducting the relevant associated procedures.
· To contribute to audit, risk, research and quality improvement in the department.
· To provide general Obs and Gynae cover during the day and at nights on a 1:8 basis (please see sample rota below).
Key responsibilities within Chelsea and Westminster Trust:
The post holder will take part in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology SpR on call rota and provide day time clinical cover as per the time table below. The Chelsea and Westminster Trust will give the post holder an honorary contract.

Key responsibilities within Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust for both roles:
The post holder will take part in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology SpR on call rota and provide day time clinical cover.
All duties must be carried out under supervision or within Trust policy and procedure. You must never undertake any duties that are outside your area of skill or knowledge level. If you are unsure, you must seek clarification from a more senior member of staff.
The post holder will also be provided with an Educational Supervisor.

Degree in medecine
Full GMC registration
Evidence of an interest in Audit
Minimum experience equivalent to ST5 -7 level in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
