Portfolio General Practitioner

KEY REQUIREMENTS Essential Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and inclusion on the NHS Performers List Completion of GP Specialty Training (or equivalent) Evidence of recent UK general practice experience Strong generalist clinical skills with the ability to manage a broad range of presentations Commitment to good medical practice, clinical governance, and high quality patient care Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with patients and colleagues Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working across multiple sites Evidence of annual appraisal and ongoing CPD Professional integrity, empathy, and a patient centred approach Enhanced DBS check (or willingness for one to be completed) Desirable Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) Additional postgraduate qualifications (e.g., DRCOG, DCH, DFSRH) Competence in joint injections, minor procedures, or womens health skills (e.g., coils) Experience contributing to QOF, clinical audits, or service improvement Experience working across multiple practices, PCNs, or varied clinical settings Interest in developing enhanced clinical skills or supporting service development Experience supporting or adapting to service change
