About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Salaried General Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary practice team, following the departure of a member of our GP team. We are a dynamic, forward-thinking surgery, passionate about developing and delivering excellent-quality local services to meet the needs of our patients. Through the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS), we are looking to appoint a Salaried GP who will be based exclusively at our practice and provide care solely to our registered patient population.
This role offers the benefits of being part of the wider PCN and ARRS programme, while providing the continuity and familiarity of working within one practice, alongside our established GP and wider multidisciplinary team.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with our patients and colleagues, contribute to the ongoing development of our services, and play an important role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to our local community.
To perform as an autonomous general practitioner working independently and with other health care professionals to assess, diagnose and treat the conditions of patients attending within a primary care setting. Provide expert professional advice to patients, carers and colleagues and ensure the maintenance of clinical excellence. To be professionally accountable and responsible for all elements of clinical practice in accordance with the GMC code of conduct ensuring the safety of patients and quality of their care is primary. The postholder will need to be capable of independent travel across the Chorley area and work flexibly to meet the needs of the Business.
