About the role
A locum consultant post has arisen within the department of Clinical Neurophysiology at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS trust. This is a 6-month locum consultant position of 6 PAs following reduction of hours. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a dynamic individual with the appropriate skills to join an established workforce providing a wide range of clinical neurophysiology services in a busy district general hospital. The post is a general clinical neurophysiology post, providing cover following reduction in hours. It offers an opportunity for either a recently trained or established consultant to gain expertise within our busy department. The successful applicant will be expected to deliver outpatient and in-patient nerve conduction studies (NCS) and EMG services, occasional urgent EEG reporting and contribute to teaching and supervision of our senior healthcare scientist team.
