About the role
We are looking for Salaried GPs to join our established and supportive primary care team at Holderness Health. This is a flexible opportunity with sessions - up to 8 per week - negotiable, including a regular Enhanced Access session one day per week, offering additional flexibility for clinicians interested in extended hours working. The role is ideal for an experienced GP or someone newly qualified who is looking to develop their career within a forward thinking practice. The post holder will provide high quality, patient centred general medical services to our registered and temporary patients, working collaboratively with the wider clinical and nonclinical team to meet a broad range of health needs.
You will deliver high quality, patient centred GP services including face to face and telephone consultations, home visits, Duty Doctor cover and weekly participation in Enhanced Access services. You will manage acute, chronic, complex and undifferentiated conditions and develop care plans with patients. You will prescribe safely in line with guidance, keep accurate clinical records, and contribute to QOF and quality improvement activity. Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team of GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, First Contact Physiotherapists, Proactive Care Team including Social Prescribers and Mental Health Worker, you will be committed to delivering excellent patient care and positive patient outcomes, with a focus on supporting continuity of care for our most complex patients. We are looking for a fully qualified GP with GMC registration, on the NHS Medical Performers List or nearing completion of training. You will have strong clinical judgement, excellent communication skills, good organisation and a compassionate, professional approach. You should be able to manage workload effectively, work independently and value teamwork, prevention and reducing health inequalities. Commitment to patient care.
