Public Health Consultant

Cornwall Council is launching a recruitment round for two Consultant in Public Health posts, each offering a unique and exciting opportunity to shape the health and wellbeing of our diverse communities across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

As a senior member of the public health leadership team, you will: Provide high-quality expert advice across the Council and the Integrated Care System Work closely with elected Members, senior officers and partners Lead strategic programmes to reduce inequalities and improve outcomes Oversee evidence, intelligence, JSNA development and priority setting Contribute to health protection, emergency response and resilience functions Support workforce development, training and educational supervision Deputise for the Director of Public Health as required
