We have an exciting opportunity for a Respiratory Consultant to join The Directorate of Respiratory Medicine at University Hospital Tees.

We are looking for a Consultant with Specialist Registration in Respiratory medicine, can evidence sound diagnostic and therapeutic skills in fibre-optic bronchoscopy and lung function testing including EBUS, has experience in managing patients with complex pleural effusion, including performing talc pleurodesis and insertion/removal of the IPC and is competent in the management of respiratory and general medical conditions with experience in managing rapid access lung cancer clinics and lung MDT membership in the UK.

The post involves cross site working.

The post-holder will be expected to maintain the highest clinical standards in the practice of respiratory medicine across both sites. Key clinical duties include:

•     Development and provision of elective outpatient respiratory clinics at UHNT, including ILD clinic inc joint rheumatology and Respiratory ILD clinics and general respiratory clinics as agreed in the job plan
