Salaried GP Cantilupe Surgery, Hereford 4-6 sessions (NO AGENCIES)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our well established , supportive team, located in the city centre of Hereford. We have a patient list size of 12640 and CQC rating good.

We are looking for a GP for 4-6 sessions per week including being part of an on call rota, to join our busy and very motivated and supportive team.

The Practice follows BMA and model contract. 4- 6 session surgeries, 15 minute phone and face to face appointments, a mix of on the day booked and pre booked patients plus one home visits (am session only) . Please see attached job description for more details

Cantilupe Surgery is a city centre practice with a branch surgery based 2 miles away at Hampton Dene, both are modern , purpose built premises. We have 12640 patients CQC 'Good' December 2023 Herefordshire 'GP Surgery of the Year' voted for by our patients, 2023 and nominated again in 2024 and nominated again in 2025 ! Our national survey results for 2025 show that 81 % of our patients are happy with their care. (national average 75%) Large team of GP's (3 Partners, 3 Salaried) in addition to 1 Registrar, 3 ANP's, 1 Advanced Paramedic, 4 Nurses, 3 HCA's and various admin/ reception support roles along with ARRS roles via PCN Routine surgeries - 15 minute face to face appointments , home visits ( one per day) and designated admin time (max of 13 contacts per surgery) Strong training ethos, currently 1 GP Registrar in practice Monthly team meetings and Significant illness/events meetings/Palliative Care Daily 'coffee time' catch up 6 weeks annual leave and one week study leave pro rata Salary dependent on experiance but, competitive
