Consultant Clinical Immunologist

We are looking for a new Consultant to join the Team at LTHTR. This will be a permanent full-time post within the Adult Allergy and Clinical Immunology services and will be based at Royal Preston Hospital, (although applicants who would like a part-time post will be considered). The successful candidate must be on the specialist register (Immunology) of the GMC or be eligible to be on the specialist register within six months of the date of the Appointments Advisory Committee. The Allergy and Clinical Immunology service is well established and has been providing clinical care since 1979. This is a regional service and serves a population of approximately 1.6 million people. The service is Specialised Commissioned for both Adult Allergy and Immunology. You must have completed the approved Joint Royal Colleges of Physicians Training Board (JRCPTB) curriculum in Immunology or demonstrate (to PMETB or an Appointments Advisory Committee) evidence of equivalence in knowledge, training and experience of Immunology and the care of patients with allergic and immunological disorders. You must also hold the MRCP (UK) or show evidence of equivalent training and experience. The successful applicant will be based at the Royal Preston Hospital, but under exceptional circumstances, may be expected to undertake sessions across our other Hospital Site, at Chorley and South Ribble District General Hospital.
