Salaried General Practitioner - Newcastle South PCN

Following the introduction of the ARRS GP role, we are delighted to offer the opportunity for a qualified, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking GP to join our Primary Care Network (PCN). We understand that different clinicians value different ways of working; therefore, we are open to discussing working arrangements across the PCN, depending on your professional preference and the needs of our member practices. Whether you prefer the continuity of a dedicated practice team or the clinical variety of working across multiple sites within the network, we provide a supportive environment designed to help you thrive in this evolving landscape of general practice.

To perform as an autonomous general practitioner working independently and with other health care professionals to assess, diagnose and treat the conditions of patients attending within a primary care setting. Provide expert professional advice to patients, carers and colleagues and ensure the maintenance of clinical excellence. To be involved in the provision of education and training to GP Registrars and other staff. To be professionally accountable and responsible for all elements of clinical practice in accordance with the GMC code of conduct ensuring the safety of patients and quality of their care is primary.

North Staffordshire GP Federation is a membership organisation supporting North Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent primary care, including all 66 GP Practices and 13 Primary Care Networks. With the release of NHSE guidance on the recruitment of General Practitioners under the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS), we are looking to expand our team by employing Salaried General Practitioners to work alongside our PCNs based across North Staffordshire.
