We are recruiting a Salaried GP 4 - 8 sessionsto join one of East Birminghams largest and well established GP surgeries. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a stable, well organised practice with a strong teaching culture, a large multidisciplinary team, and a modern digital workflow that supports sustainable and flexible working in general practice.

What Were Looking For

- GMCregistered GP with UK primary care experience - Interest in teaching, training, or clinical development - Strong communication, teamwork skillsand motivated

Educational Supervisor experience is welcome but not essential we will support development.

How We Work

- EMIS and Docman - Hybrid model: duty triage, telephone and facetoface appointments - AccuRx and NHS App for patient access - Digital tools including Docman AI and JiffJaff to automate document and results processing

- Flexible working arrangements

We are a large training practice hosting Foundation trainees and Birmingham Medical School students, with opportunities for GPs to develop as trainers or educators.

Our team includes 17 GPs, 2 PAs, 3 First Contact Physios, 1 Paramedic, 1 Diabetes Specialist Nurse, 3 Registered Nurses, 5 HCAs, and a large inhouse Pharmacy Team supporting prescribing and medication workload.

Person specification

Essential

- Excellent clinical decision making
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Competence in EMIS or willingness to learn
- Ability to manage workload efficiently
- Professional, reliable, and patient centred
- Commitment to high quality care
- Adaptable and able to work in a busy, diverse practice
- Willingness to contribute to teaching and practice development
- GMC registered GP with a licence to practise
- MRCGP or equivalent
- Evidence of ongoing CPD
- Experience working in UK primary care
- Ability to manage a broad range of acute and chronic conditions
- Experience with telephone and face to face consultations

Desirable

- Interest in digital transformation or workflow optimisation
- Experience with Docman, AccuRx, or similar systems
- Interest in developing a portfolio career
- Desire to progress into training or educational roles
- Educational Supervisor or Clinical Supervisor accreditation
- Postgraduate teaching or leadership qualifications
- Experience supervising trainees or medical students
- Experience working in a large multidisciplinary team
