Provide high-quality, patient-centred medical care to patients registered with the practice. Undertake face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations, assessing, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with national and local guidelines. Manage patients with long-term conditions and contribute to preventative healthcare initiatives. Review and act upon laboratory results, correspondence, and clinical reports in a timely manner. Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and contemporaneous clinical records. Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team, including nurses, pharmacists, physician associates, and other healthcare professionals. Participate in safeguarding processes and fulfil statutory responsibilities relating to vulnerable adults and children. Contribute to quality improvement activities, clinical audits, and practice development initiatives. Support the achievement of Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) and other contractual requirements where appropriate. Participate in practice meetings and contribute to the ongoing development of services. Adhere to GMC standards, NHS policies, and practice procedures, ensuring the highest standards of clinical governance and patient safety. Engage in continuing professional development (CPD) and maintain revalidation requirements.
