Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

Join our Phoenix Unit CAMHS team at Wokingham Community Hospital, a Tier 4 alternative to admission service. We provide a combination of day programme and home treatment support to up to 16 young people with a range of severe mental health challenges - from eating disorders to psychosis, self-harm, and mood disorders - helping them stay in their community as day patients. You'll work as part of a rich and established multidisciplinary team including nurses, clinical psychologists, dietitians, family and other therapists. You'll be part of Berkshire Healthcare Advanced NHS Foundation Trust, rated "Outstanding" by the CQC for our positive, supportive culture where staff feel valued, and we've recently been awarded Advanced Foundation Trust status. We consistently achieve top NHS staff survey scores, including engagement and staff recommending us as a place to work. This full-time 10 PA role is based in Wokingham with core hours of Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with a low-intensity and low-frequency on-call rota.
