Salaried GP

Salaried GP - 8 Sessions ( will consider 6 sessions ) We are looking for experienced or newly qualified GPs, who will enjoy working in a supportive team looking after a very diverse population of patients. We are keen to ensure the continued long term delivery of excellent primary care to our local community and as a GP, your workload will be organised to enable you to focus on providing excellent patient care. You will be expected to undertake all of the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care including: Managing a varied caseload and dealing with a wide range of health needs, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients Carry out thorough surgery consultations, telephone consultations, home visits, dealing with any queries in a professional manner Clinical admin including completing tasks and filing or actioning results and documents/reports Assist with medical emergencies within the Practice Deal with minor injuries as they present to the Practice - including superficial lacerations/head injuries/minor burns, etc. Refer cases outside of the scope of the Practice to appropriate secondary care services Participate in team meetings and provide support to other members of the clinical team and offering support to GP Trainees Provide counselling and health education to patients
