Salaried GP

Overdale Medical Practice is delighted to offer an opportunity for a Salaried GP to join our well established, friendly and forward thinking team in Derbyshire. We are a stable, high performing practice with a strong reputation for excellent patient care, supportive teamwork and clinician well-being. This post is ideal for a GP looking for a sustainable, enjoyable role within a genuinely supportive environment. Session number is flexible (typically 4-6 sessions per week)and we are open to discussions to meet both practice and individual needs. You will take part in the practice on-call rota on a pro-rata basis in line with your agreed number of sessions. Alongside clinical work, there is opportunity to develop a practice leadership or portfolio role aligned with your interests (for example safeguarding, education, quality improvement or service development), supported by training, mentorship and protected time.

15 Minute appointments as standard to deliver safe, high quality, patient centred consultations. Manageable workload with capped appointments and effective administrative support. Undertake very few home visits, supported by a dedicated home visiting service. Work collaboratively with a strong, approachable clinical leadership and management team. Contribute to multidisciplinary working with well embedded MDT and ARRS roles providing day to day clinical support. Maintain a positive, respectful practice culture with a focus on patient experience and continue our high patient satisfaction. Engage with learning, supervision and quality improvement, supporting retention and clinician well-being.
