Locum GP - Maternity Cover

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced GP to provide maternity cover on a temporary basis from June. We are looking for 6 sessions per week for 6 months. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality patient care within a busy clinical environment, ensuring continuity of care during the maternity leave period. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your clinical expertise and contribute positively to patient outcomes in a supportive healthcare setting. The position is paid and suitable for medical professionals with relevant experience in primary care.

Conduct comprehensive consultations with patients, including antenatal assessments and follow-up care Manage a diverse range of medical conditions, with an emphasis on maternal health and general practice Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines Perform clinical examinations, including anatomy assessments and vital sign monitoring Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care Document patient encounters accurately within electronic health records Provide health education and counselling tailored to individual patient needs Support public health initiatives, including screening programmes and vaccination clinics Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical imaging techniques relevant to primary care settings Ensure compliance with clinical governance standards and safety protocols
