Applications are invited for the post of Locum Consultant in Paediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus at Addenbrooke's Hospital part of Cambridge University Hospital NHS Trust.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, high-calibre, and forward-thinkingConsultant Paediatric Ophthalmologistto join our Ophthalmology team at Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH). This position is designed for a clinician with advanced sub-specialty fellowship training inpaediatric ophthalmology, complex strabismus management (adult and paediatric), and the screening and management of Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP). The successful candidate will work alongside our existing team of consultant ophthalmologists, orthoptists, and specialized paediatric nurses to deliver cutting-edge tertiary care to patients across Cambridgeshire and the wider East of England region. You will be fully registered with the GMC and ideally have a CCT at the time of interview. The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC's Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
