About the role

Join Our Dynamic Team! We are looking for enthusiastic Registrar Doctors with experience in urgent and emergency care to become part of our dedicated team at the Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) at Watford General Hospital. Our UTC provides same-day assessments and treatments for patients presenting with urgent, non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries. What We Offer:Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Nurses, and support staff. A diverse range of services under the Integrated Urgent Care Pathway (IUPC), which includes UTC, Single Point of Access (SPA), Out-of-Hours (OOH), and the CAS 111 service. We are planning to implement an on-call arrangement. Further information will follow once confirmed.

The main remit of this post is to play an active part in all aspects of a patient's medical care within the Urgent Treatment Centre and the Emergency Department at Watford General Hospital.

The post holder will complement existing UTC and Emergency Department services through the provision of specialist knowledge and expertise in an Accident & Emergency / Urgent Care setting, helping to deliver safe, efficient and patient-centred urgent and emergency care.
