Specialty Doctor at Westminster CAMHS Full Time, Fixed Term 12 Months Westminster CAMHS is looking for a experienced and motivated Specialty Doctor, to undertake a 12 months fixed term post in Westminster CAMHS. The role can be across the different specialty sub teams depending on both service need and individual interest. This job plan will be agreed and reviewed at job planning and regularly from time to time to meet the needs of the service as they evolve.The post holder will be working alongside and supported by consultant colleagues in the Emotional Disorders, Neurodevelopmental, Enhanced Treatment and other senior MDT colleagues. Westminster CAMHS is based at 7a Woodfield Road (off Harrow Road). The clinic is easily accessible by public transport; it is a very short walk from Westbourne Park underground station and well served by bus links. The post is for 10 PA to support the existing psychiatry team with assessments, diagnosis, risk reviews, prescribing and medication management, including neurodevelopmental cases. The main role of the post holder will be to provide high quality psychiatric assessment and treatment. The post holder may also be required to cover duty psychiatry slots for Westminster CAMHS once they have settled in and if deemed appropriate to their level. Duties also include; To attend CAMHS multidisciplinary team meetings for mutual support, in-service training, for the review of clinical cases and opportunities for audit.To participate in the provision of teaching to medical undergraduates and other professionals. To ensure good record keeping of assessments and interventions and to contribute to reports/ correspondence as outlined in the clinical protocol of the service.To participate in continuing professional development.
