About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Locum Consultant Nuclear Medicine Physician/Radiologist, with an interest in molecular radiotherapy, to join our team in Nuclear Medicine at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. The post will be for up to 12 months. We are one of the UK's largest teaching Trusts, a major trauma centre and regional Nuclear Medicine centre, serving a regional population of 1.5 million in a modern PFI facility (which ensures a guaranteed equipment replacement programme). This post will be primarily based at the University Hospital site and will involve 10 programmed activities (10 PA).
The primary purposes of the post will be to contribute to the provision of Nuclear Medicine specialist services. The post holder will be an IR(ME)R (ARSAC) licence holder (or be working towards this) and undertake work to provide a comprehensive Radionuclide imaging service. The post holder will join the existing team, which comprises 5 consultant radiologists with interests in diagnostic general nuclear medicine, PET, contrast CT for hybrid imaging and molecular radiotherapy.
