Required to fill this replacement post within the Interventional Neuroradiology Department at the Leeds General Infirmary.
Situated right in the heart of vibrant Leeds city centre, the Leeds General Infirmary is a tertiary referral centre providing specialist care to the West Yorkshire region with a catchment population of over 3 million.
The interventional neuroradiology department at the Leeds General Infirmary currently employs 3 full-time interventional neuroradiology (INR) consultants who provide a full range neuro-interventional procedures; notably complex intracranial aneurysm treatment, embolization of brain AVMs and spinal arteriovenous shunts, cerebral arterial and venous stenting procedures, cranial and spinal tumour embolization and mechanical thrombectomy for acute stroke. An INR-trained neurosurgeon also participates in the delivery of neuro-interventional service. If shortlisted, you will be required to give a 10-minute presentation on:
