Clinical Fellow ST1/2 in Oncology

This post is for a Clinical Fellow role which would suit either post F2 or post IMT Drs who are interested in exploring oncology as a career and gaining experience in a leadership and service development role. The role can be full or part time and is fixed term for one year. Prior experience working in the NHS is essential and prior Oncology experience is desirable but not essential as the role is fully supported. The role is based in outpatient and ambulatory oncology services and will provide experience in the management of oncology patients receiving specialist treatment and in follow-up. The post has protected project time to lead projects in service development, which will enhance leadership skills and enhance career development in oncology or elsewhere.

The post holders will be working as part of a team looking after the non-surgical aspects of oncology patients.
