About the role
This new role requires an enthusiastic and innovative population health professional, who is passionate about embedding prevention in an acute trust through strategic working, use of data and analytics, AI and research. The postholder will be a qualified Public Health Consultant with experience in population health management, digital infrastructure and data platforms. The postholder will be part of the Population Health at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. Population Health is an approach that aims to improve physical & mental health outcomes, promote wellbeing & reduce inequalities across an entire population. Improving population health & reducing health inequalities through partnership working are the golden threads that run through the Royal Free London Clinical Strategy, shaping how we work with partners & communities to improve health & wellbeing. This new role is key in implementing the Trust's population health & preventative care ambitions through the intelligent use of data, analytics & digital tools. They will provide leadership on the use of predictive modelling, risk stratification & AI-enabled analytics with the aim of improving outcomes, streamlining care, & reducing avoidable activity. The postholder will also support the development of proportionate data access & linkage processes, promote best practice in information governance, & help clinical teams adopt digital & data-driven approaches that enhance prevention & patient engagement.
