Primary Care Network GP Assistant

General practice assistants (GPAs) form part of a multi-disciplinary team within primary care, providing a support role by carrying out administrative and clinical tasks which helps to free-up GPs time and contributes to the smooth running of the surgeries. Successful post holders will be supported to complete an accredited Health Education England training programme and achieve a formal certification.

We constantly strive to improve patient pathways and health care outcomes. The post holder will play an integral role within the network and will be part of the MDT enabling this to happen. KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: GPs, Practice Nurses and other practice staff PCN/GP Prescribing Lead PCN Managers Community Nurses and other Allied Health Professionals Community Pharmacists and support staff.
