Salaried GP

Job Overview Main Duties

NTGP has a fantastic opportunity for a salaried GP to join our multi-disciplinary team. The position will require GP sessions from both locations (on different days). We are flexible with sessions available and looking for a GP to cover 5-6 sessions per week. The days can be negotiable to suit you, the team & patients.

You will be consulting with patients using face to face, telephone & via e-consultation methods. Our practice provides a total triage service for all our patients, this will include duty doctor days and home visits on a rota basis.

You will be responsible for the provision of medical services to our patient population managing a caseload dealing with a wide range of health needs. You will be supporting & supported by the wide range of clinical and non-clinical team within the practice. We may close the advert if we have higher number of applicants before deadline date.

Clinical Responsibilities

To act at all times in accordance with the precepts of the GMC's Good Medical Practice.

To assess the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.

To screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.

To provide counselling and health education as appropriate.
