Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon

Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon - Permanent Substantive Post Applications are invited for the post of a permanent Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon based at the Great Western Hospital. The Breast Centre is a friendly and forward thinking department with a fully digital environment with 4 Dimensions Hologic Mammography unit. The Breast Centre has also benefitted from the completion of the Radiotherapy Centre which has been opened in recent years. The Breast Centre is also an NHS Breast Screening unit. The Breast team perform well overall in relation to the national Cancer Waiting Times (CWT) and Referral to Treatment standards (RTT).

The successful candidate will work within the Breast team and will join an existing team of three Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeons and three Specialty Doctors. The Breast team are well supported by the wider Breast Multidisciplinary team (MDT) which includes Radiology, Radiography, Oncology and Clinical Nurse Specialist support.
