About the role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Clinical Fellow in Otolaryngology (ENT) to join our dynamic and supportive department. until 2nd February 2027 to cover a gap in training. This role offers a possible extension and is an excellent opportunity to gain comprehensive experience in the diagnosis, management, and surgical treatment of a wide range of ENT conditions within a busy NHS setting. The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of ENT care, including outpatient clinics, elective and emergency surgery, inpatient management, and on-call duties, while progressing through higher specialist training. This post does not carry a national training number. Provide high-quality care for patients presenting with ear, nose and throat conditions in both elective and emergency settings Participate in outpatient clinics, ward rounds, and operating theatre lists Perform and assist in ENT surgical procedures appropriate to level of training Contribute to the on-call rota, managing ENT emergencies such as epistaxis, airway compromise, and post-operative complications Supervise and support junior medical staff and contribute to multidisciplinary team working Engage in teaching of medical students and junior colleagues Actively participate in audit, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical governance activities
