About the role
Are you wanting to join a stable GP Training Practice that's well liked by its patients? Do you need flexibility in your start and finish times, including leaving early for the school/nursery pick-up? Do you want to work in an area of low deprivation in a quintessential Wiltshire market-town? If any or all of these are yes, think about enquiring about this role further. The Avenue Surgery are looking to expand our current GP team by welcoming a new salaried GP, who can work 6 sessions per week. Your role 6 sessions per week Very manageable workload of: 11 patients per session, 15-minute appointments 3 continuity slots (GP-book-only), 7.5-minute appointments List-holding to promote continuity and getting to know your patients Total triage approach with two GPs managing triage together in the morning and one in the afternoon Opportunities to take on additional responsibilities for a higher salary Special interests encouraged and can evidence supporting existing clinicians. NHS pension Indemnity fees covered by Practice
Maximise the effective use of current clinical computer systems. Record clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to an agreed standard. To take part in areas including clinical auditing and data collection. Contribute to QOF & IIF requirements and recording data appropriately. Attend team meetings and other clinical meetings as necessary.
