Technical Consultant (Infrastructure Operations)

The post of Technical Consultant has been awarded a Recruitment and Retention Premia (RRP) in response to current labour market conditions. In recognition of this, the role attracts an additional monthly RRP payment equal to 13% per annum. Please be aware that RRP is none contractual and subject to review. Infrastructure Services The purpose of Infrastructure services is to ensure our services and systems are hosted effectively, securely and efficiently. The function of Infrastructure services brings all network and hosting infrastructure into a single team which will provide a multi-skilled 24/7 Infra Operations team organised by function and focussed on supporting continual improvement. The teams are divided into fourcore areas providing technical and service management expertise: Hosting Cloud centre of excellence Connectivity Central capabilities

Work within NHS England's multi-cloud environment, with a primary focus on Azure, collaborating with teams building and supporting our critical national services Helping teams to work within our guardrails to be compliant with our cloud controls. Use your Azure knowledge and experience to discuss technical topics with highly technical product teams Help deliver enterprise level services to automate and streamline future cloud adoption Collaborate with our chosen partners who provide enterprise-level industry knowledge Have a keen interest and understanding in all security aspects of modern cloud deployments, using cloud-native tooling and best of breed products Understand the value in documentation, knowledge sharing and bringing others along for the journey
