Come and join our incredibly friendly GP Practice nestled in Shipton-Under-Wychwood in the Cotswold countryside. We are looking to recruit a salaried GP for 6 - 8 sessions to join our progressive and innovative practice. We have a national patient satisfaction score in the top 2% of the country. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work with our dynamic and friendly team. The post holder will perform the normal duties of a GP; delivering an excellent standard of clinical care, sharing best practice, providing peer support and maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team. Person Specification - Experience preferred however will consider newly qualified GP for the right candidate. Experience of working in a primary care environment Experience of continued professional development Experience of QOF and clinical audit General understanding of the GMS contract Desirable Experience of medicines management Experience of ICB initiatives Eligibility Essential Full GMC Registration National Performers List registration Eligibility to practice in the UK independently Qualifications Essential Qualified GP MRCGP Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT) Skills Essential Excellent communication skills (written and oral) Strong IT skills, including EMIS Web Ability to work as a team member and autonomously Problem solving & analytical skills Disclosure and Barring Service Check performed.
Main Duties and Responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities Provide a full range of medical services as defined in the core GMS contract and additional enhanced services where appropriate In accordance with the Practice timetable, the post-holder will make him/her-self available to undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, occasionally visiting patients at home and in care homes, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion To record clear and contemporaneous computer based consultation notes to agreed standards using EMIS web
