Salaried GP - Maternity Cover

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and patient focused Salaried GP to provide 12 month maternity cover. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive team that values high-quality patient care, collaboration and professional development. You will provide safe, effective and compassionate care to our diverse patient population, working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team in a practice that encourages innovation and supports the development of special interests. We welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified GPs. This is a fixed term role for approximately 12 months, starting in March 2027 (exact start date to be agreed). Sessions: 6 per week Working Days: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Contract Length: 12 Months.

You will provide high-quality clinical care to patients across all age groups, managing both acute and long-term conditions in a busy general practice. The role includes face-to-face, home visits, telephone and digital consultations, working closely with the wider team to deliver safe, effective and compassionate care.

You will play an active part in improving services, supporting clinical quality, and contributing to a positive team culture, while maintaining professional standards, continuous learning and excellent patient experience.

We are a well established GP practice providing high-quality care to a diverse local population. Our multidisciplinary team includes GPs, nurses, healthcare assistants, pharmacists, social prescribers, care coordinators and a skilled reception and administrative team, all working together to deliver safe, effective and patient-centred services.
