Full-Time Senior Clinical Fellow in Respiratory Medicine With Participation in the General Internal Medicine (GIM) On-Call Rota Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (WWL) is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Clinical Fellow in Respiratory Medicine to join our established Respiratory team on a full-time substantive basis. A key feature of this post is participation in the Trust's General Internal Medicine (GIM) on-call rota, providing an excellent opportunity for clinicians wishing to maintain and develop their acute medicine skills alongside a rewarding Senior Clinical Fellow Respiratory role. This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about Respiratory Medicine and acute care, and who is looking to establish themselves in a substantive role within a supportive teaching hospital environment. In addition to specialist respiratory practice, the successful candidate will have opportunities to become involved in teaching, training, quality improvement, service development and research. Based at the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary, the successful applicant will work within a dynamic and forward-thinking Respiratory Department, delivering high-quality care across inpatient and outpatient settings. The post offers the opportunity to work closely with an experienced team of Respiratory Consultants, Specialist Nurses, Allied Health Professionals and junior doctors, contributing to the continued development of Respiratory services across the Trust.
