Salaried GP

Looking for an enthusiastic GP for a Salaried role of up to 5 sessions a week. This is a permanent Salaried contract role.

A range of regular clinical duties, including: Face to face consultations. Telephone consultation. Duty Doctor responsibilities. Routine follow-up (e.g. pathology, referrals, hospital correspondence, prescriptions). Home visits. Planned care/chronic disease management. Acute care.

Involvement in practice-level clinical decision making.

Hawthorns Surgery is a renowned CQC rated GOOD Surgery in Wylde Green, Sutton Coldfield and the Surgery is led by a 5 GP Partnership. The Hawthorns Surgery is a busy practice and is also an Undergraduate and Postgraduate training practice. The Hawthorns Surgery is a forward thinking practice but have fought hard to maintain a personal list system which research has proved to be best practice. We score well on the GP Patient Survey, which we believe reflects our ethos as a family practice focussed on high quality and safe patient care. The practice has an exceptional clinical and non-clinical team with outstanding staff retention rates. The practice operates out of a purpose-built surgery, offering facilities to provide patient centred medicine supported by EMIS web (clinical system). The surgery also provides in-house Minor Surgery, Physio (FCP) and Joint Injections services.

A strong support team is in place to deliver the service including Practice Nurses, Clinical Pharmacists, Social Prescriber, Physician Associate, Clinical Coders/Scanners, Practice Secretaries, experienced and fully trained Reception team and a designated Prescription Clerks.
