Consultant ENT Surgeon - interest in Otology

These posts have been created to meet increasing demand and support ongoing service expansion and transformation, with the aim to establish sub-speciality interests, and in line with plans for a new hospital at the Watford site and work underway for a new surgical elective hub at St Albans City Hospital. Each post offers a 10 PA job plan with a flexible working structure, supported professional activities, and a strong commitment to education, research, and clinical governance. You'll be expected to contribute to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, audit and service development initiatives, and provide high-quality patient care. The post holders will be an addition to the team of 2 full time Consultants, Associate specialist and four speciality grade surgeons, trainee registrar and three SHOs. Situated within the pan-London region, the service closely aligns with ENT services at London Northwest, Bedfordshire and East & North Herts Hospitals; the appointees will join the regional network on call via East & North Herts. Relevant capabilities should be clearly demonstrated on the list of surgical experience/procedures. Candidates will be considered for interview if they have a UK CCT/peri-CCT, are on the UK specialist register.
