GP Surgery GP Receptionist / Care Navigator

We are based over two sites, and the successful candidate will be expected to work across both surgeries. Our main surgery is: 54 Benhill Avenue, Sutton, Surrey, SM14EB and our branch surgery is: 10 Hardegray Close, Sutton, Surrey, SM2 5FQ. We are an enthusiastic, high performing, high energy practice that aims to provide the best healthcare for our patients and their families. We are also a member of Cheam and South Sutton Primary Care Network (PCN). The role of receptionist requires a self-motivated, disciplined individual to assist the patients with accessing services within the practice and other NHS services. The successful candidate will be working as a key member of the current practice team. They require previous experience in a fast-paced customer service roles; have excellent IT Skills, particularly knowledge of Microsoft Office systems. Desirable skills: Knowledge of EMIS Web and Docman 10. The role involves but not limited to the following; Telephone, signposting and booking of patients Consulting with members of practice team Processing and handling prescriptions, emails and other external requests, working with both clinicians, pharmacists, and outside agencies as appropriate. Registrations of new patients, computer data entry and medical records. Process patients change of address, computer data and medical records (have knowledge of practice area).
