ConsultantChild & Adolescent Psychiatrist (Inpatient CAMHS) 10 sessions per week We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a substantive Consultant post based on Evergreen Ward, an 8-bed acute unit in Luton. Evergreen Ward is a highly specialised in-patient service for adolescents with severe and complex mental disorders. The ward provides acute care within a therapeutic environment, supporting young people through comprehensive assessment and treatment. There is a highly experienced multidisciplinary team providing holistic biopsychosocial assessments and treatment packages to young people and their families, who are actively involved in co-production. The Consultant Psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and treatment where appropriate, undertake risk assessments, and contribute a psychiatric perspective to care planning. The post holder will provide clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team, offer consultation to other professionals and agencies, and contribute to ongoing service development.
