Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine and/or Anaesthetics

Applications are welcomed for a highly motivated Consultant Anaesthetist/ Intensivist post based at Morecambe Bay Hospitals. The hospital is a trust of 5 site bases with intensive care departments on 2 of its larger sites and theatres on 3 of the 5 sites. You will predominantly be based at the Furness General Hospital covering the Intensive Care Unit. You will join a department of 8 Consultants with several Specialists, Specialty Doctors and ACCP's. Depending upon your clinical skills the successful candidate could have the opportunity to work in main theatres covering maternity, gynaecology, orthopaedic and trauma, ophthalmology and ENT while also attending our Westmorland General Hospital that focuses primarily on Elective Surgery. Furness General Hospital is a lovely, friendly district general hospital based in South Cumbria close to the Lake District. Westmorland General Hospital is located on the outskirts of the popular Lakeland town of Kendal.
