About the role
The Department of Haematology at UCLH is seeking a Clinical Teaching Fellow at ST3+ to join our team in August 2026 for a period of 12 months. This post is less than full time at 32 hours per week. The role is split between primarily supporting our educational leads with administration and delivery of undergraduate teaching and secondarily providing a clinical service to our patients. The postholder will also participate in the wider haematology on call rota and gain experience in the management of haematological emergencies and liaison haematology. Applicants should have completed SHO-level training (minimum 4 years postgraduate clinical experience) in internal medicine and/or be an established haematology registrar. The post is suitable for post-IMT trainees who wish to gain haematology experience in order to secure an NTN. We also welcome applications from: - current UK trainees who are looking to undertake an OOPE or OOPT to broaden their clinical experience. - suitably qualified haematology doctors who are looking to pursue GMC specialist registration via the CESR route We can offer in-depth, longer-term clinical and laboratory experience to fulfil the requirements of the UK haematology curriculum.
